Short Mat Bowls

Every Monday, 7.30pm – 9.30pm

Every Thursday, 2.30pm – 4.30pm

COMBWICH SHORT MAT BOWLS CLUB are looking to welcome new members to the club to enjoy a friendly game of bowls with a cup of tea to refresh you in mid-session.

It does not matter if you are a complete novice or an experienced player, old or young or in between, all are welcome.

Every Monday

5.45pm – 7.30pm

The 1st Combwich Brownies Guide Unit meet during term time, welcoming girls from Combwich and surrounding areas with vacancies for girls aged 7-8+ years.

Girl Guiding has recently launched a very exciting new programme for all of its members from Rainbows to Rangers and the girls are thoroughly enjoying taking part in new, exciting and challenging activities and gaining new style badges at the same time. Two adult leaders, a young leader and a parent helper run the sessions on a rota basis.

Aerobics

Every Tuesday

9.30am – 10.30am

This is a cardio-based workout helping to improve general fitness, weight loss and toning. Most of the class is standing but there is some floor work near the end.

Yogalates

Every Tuesday

10.45am – 11.45am

This is a gentle-paced workout suitable for all ages and abilities combining Pilates and Yoga which is mainly floor-based and helps improve core stability, muscle tone, strength, posture, balance and flexibility.

Movement To Music

Every Tuesday

12pm – 12.45pm

This is a gentle-paced class which improves mobility and balance. It is mainly chair-based however standing is encouraged at times.

Pilates instructor, Sharn Hooper

Physiotherapy - LED Pilates

Every Wednesday 

6.30pm

Led by Chartered Physiotherapist, and APPI Pilates instructor qualified, Sharn Hooper.

These sessions are carefully designed to develop key muscle groups, which will enhance your strength, stability and balance; alongside mindful relaxation techniques. Suitable for all abilities.

Sharn is a senior Physiotherapist in the NHS and works in private practice. She is also a Pilates instructor qualified through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute. Sharn has a wealth of knowledge and experience from her professional roles, as well as from her experience as an elite athlete; enabling her to deliver mat-based Pilates sessions with different level exercise options to suit all abilities.

Coffee and cookies at the village hall

Coffee Morning

Every Friday

10am – 12pm

Come along and enjoy a coffee, tea and biscuits and a chat!

The Club also organises trips to various places of interest. Everyone welcome. Free entry.

Second Saturday of each month

10am – 12pm

At the Combwich Village Market you can buy a variety of goods including cakes, bread, plants, jams and chutneys, needlework, jewellery, artwork, handmade cards and much more.
